The Cannondale CAADX is an aluminium cyclocross bike, built to be a fantastic racer, with honed geometry, made to give you the competitive edge. It’s not only made for racing, however. For commuting purposes, it could be the ultimate bike. The versatile handling and robust parts make the CAADX ideal for taking on rough city streets as well as back country adventures. We review the CAADX model range, showing the highlights.

With the ability to take up to a 37c tyre, a full complement of mudguard and rack mounts and a comfortable riding position, the CAADX is a bike that can take on many roles. As a winter bike, there’s little else you could wish for, especially when the weather turns. With reasonable price points and fantastic value for money, the Cannondale CAADX range makes for an attractive do-it-all dropbar bike.

The Cannondale CAADX is an amazingly versatile bike. Its main purpose is to race in the demanding cyclocross discipline, but it is also happy doubling as your everyday workhorse. The lightweight alloy frame gets comfortable geometry, making it great for both racing as well as hitting city streets.

From the entry-level CAADX Tiagra to the range-topping CAADX Ultegra, you get Shimano groupsets that are built to shift smoothly in any condition. Every model gets a parts spec that is capable from the off and comes at a very competitive price point too. If a more premium build is what you’re after, then the carbon-framed Cannondale SuperX is worth a look.

I hate one way forks. It is so stupid to use those, no advantages at all.

Cubase 27 says:

not particularly wise to cycle to the pub wouldn’t you say?

Jay Whi says:

I pretty new to cycling, living in Tokyo where bicycle is an absolute essential. I grabbed the BadBoy 4 for my daily commute – I log about 14km every day Mon-Fri and thus far I couldn’t be happier.

I’ will definitly stay within the BadBoy product line and hopefully upgrade to the BadBoy 2 when BB4 dies.

Magusjanus says:

Great video! I’ve been looking at this line for a little while now. What are, if any, the differences between the 2017 and 2018 models specifically for the 1? And does this bike have a rack mount? (Not that a rack should go on such a beauty, but for a winter commute it’s just too much weight to put on my back between all the layers and change of clothes/shoes and such)

Bk6346 says:

Al la min um frame

NoBrakes23 says:

Reminds me of the Trek Soho from a few years back, (Though this seems much nicer with that buttery Lefty fork and hydro discs.) That stem looks like a angled re-imagining of Odyssey’s Elementry BMX stem. I would ride this.

Jamie Cannon says:

Super this super that” actually it’s extremely FUGLY

James Bono says:

Looking to purchase a bike to ride to get healthy and lose weight. 6’2. 280lbs. Is this the right bike for me. Thank you

stateniland says:

Hello…
I purchased the Pedrone computer for my Bad Boy 1… With the thick round front fork that is making it difficult to mount the speed sensor.. SUGGESTIONS? Thank you

stateniland says:

got a Bad Boy 1.. super nice!

Borivoj Stankovic says:

wow, coulb that on muddy uphill can be better as chain is stretching a bit of force, and resisting over torque on slipper,. ,like traction control (: ??

MrKimboatok says:

What size is the bike in the Video?

CONAN-FA18 says:

Does this bike offer rack mounts for urban/commute purposes? Is a suspension fork an option? Also, do these come with Shimano Alfine hub drive 11 or 8? Is the 11 speed Alfine an option. Is there a website to learn more? Thanks.

Jadon Truong says:

The bad boy 4 is a mechanical disk not hydraulic

doc doti says:

Really want the top tier bad boy but none of the lbs has it in stock

Lance Link says:

These used to be 700C wheels, bad move going to 650B, they with the wider tyres are much heavier. Bad Boy becomes Fat Boy.

Gdubbz says:

Nice looking bike, but would you pay $1,850 USD for it?

apple sauce says:

Does it have internal cable mount for variable seat post remote?

Chance1957 says:

Why would anybody buy one of these freaky looking gimmicks. Just an idiotic design.

gooni goo goo says:

the rear hub will break easy and the headshot require a 12 month maintenance schedule or it will also break. and that can cost almost 300 euro to fix….great bike but requires high end maintenance. like a Ferrari.

Rick M says:

These are nice if you are riding on wooden floors, but suck on L.A. roads. Stiff as fuck!!

Rick Todd says:

Made in TAIWAN.

Rokas G says:

Why does it hangs in the air on 3:21? Is it true that you can’t put properly such a bike (with internal gear hub like Shimano Alfine) on bike stand because there is not enough space between rear wheel dropouts and brake disk? As a result rear wheel does not reaches holder’s basis.

Philip Roberts says:

Can mud guards be fitted to this bike,I currently have SKS Long boards fitted to my Kinesis and would like a similar size mudguard for this if such thing exists.
After all Cannondale class this bike as an urban commuter so they must know riders will want to fit some sort of weather protection!

James Strike says:

フィッツっぽい

John Black says:

no USA – no consumer!

TruthFLA says:

That bike is gorgeous

Phucklord3000 says:

prefer one designed around touring with racks and mudguards and 1×11

Andres Jardon says:
