Douglas Kmiotek says:

That seat is definitely crap. Any update on how it’s holding up?

mrk107 says:

You just cant shift gears with that bike.

Lucas Wild says:

How tall are you? Lets see it in action for cruising, I would love to get one for bike-path cruising. Great Review!

Pablo Smith says:

I own one of these too. It’s essentially a large BMX bike, so it’s not really suited for touring. It does makes an awesome neighborhood/bar cruiser or short distance commuter though. I have around 250 miles on it now and the only issues I’ve had with it were the hard ass seat, stock brake pads, and the shin gouging bear trap pedals. All parts that typically get upgraded on complete bikes anyway. It rides smooth and the geometry is comfortable (I’m 6’1″). The gearing tops out pretty quickly, but it’s nicely balanced for hilly areas. I bought it to have a no-frills bike. Something that I can just jump on and ride, and not have to fuss with gears, pedal clips, and an uncomfortable seating position.

Stefan Lowe says:

Gosh!!! I used to ride a Redline PL-20.

Awesome bike, I love the retro BMX bikes.

Shaine Dickinson says:

solid bike, just bums me out it’s CHINA made. Terrible. we actually bought one. Good for a cheap cruiser.

SSecondo1 says:

Update: After taking this bike for a spin shortly after the review, I want to note that this bike is not one that you will like taking on long rides regularly. It is more suited for short trips.

Robert Frias says:

Just bought one.

Paul Dykstra says:

Would aggressive off road tires like the WTB 26*2.3 vigilante or velociraptor 26*2.1 fit this bicycle? What do you think would be the most aggressive tire that would have clearance?

I wish i had the common sense to sell 22 of my bikes and keep only 1 – probably wont happen until i’m 75 years old

Mike Lute says:

Awesome bike! Sorry to hear you sold it. I have an SE Big Ripper as well as an OM Flyer. I’m 40 years old and feel like a kid again on these bikes. They’re a blast. My personal favorite is the OM Flyer.

Tito Matias says:

Great review! You have convinced me this will be my next bike!
