PDB Long says:

Not sure about dropping $3K for that; many features looked like afterthought

JPO Orr says:

$3000 good luck trying to sell those

JPO Orr says:

I don’t understand these companies and there pricing strategies. If you want to become a millionaire don’t try to make a million dollars off of one person. Make a dollar off of a million people. Rad is a perfect example of that strategy!

Stephanie Shannon says:

What would happen if I charge your electric bike with a different velocity charger

Mr. JC says:

That opening bell gets me every time….lol

supernova1976 says:

3k are they kidding ? I get it has a bigger capacity battery but the price and technology is getting cheaper and I see nothing worth 3k total here .

Al M says:

All Motive bikes are overpriced. Their $2.2K bikes have entry-level components, you could get the same for $600 less. This Werks has mid-tier components, this barely adds up to $3K. Motiv frames do look nice. People packed with money fall for looks. At this price, still no seat tube bosses or flip-up seat to remove the battery, LOL.

Gary Fujioka Sr. says:

Great review CR. In my humble opinion $3K seems like a lot of money for what it is. Noisy motor, noisy brakes, front end dives. At 60+ lbs it cannot go on public transit racks or Amtrak. If ebikes are going to be accepted as part of a multi modal transportation paradigm instead of a fad, manufacturers will have to address weight. I did however learn about that Suntour NCX seatpost in the video and am going to get one of those.

Juan Alfonso Noval says:

I rented the Spark, and it was fun but it wasn’t for me. I did not like the cruiser handlebar or riding position. I felt hunched over so for the kind of riding I do it felt uncomfortable for my lower back. Also, I was very aware of the cadence sensor cut off around 20 mph. It felt like I had hit a wall, and with a heavy bike, no matter how hard I pedaled I could go no faster unless I was going downhill. Again, it was fun but not for me. To compare, I liked the R n M Nevo much better, though I know that these are totally different ebikes.
