I have this same bike. And i am a 34 year old man. The bike looks very retro and artsy. Just to let you know there are new lithium batteries that fit inside the case. They start at $100 for one 12v 10ah. So you buy two and put them in series inside the case. And they work with the same charger. K2 batteries is one of the manufactuers. And they are sold on ebay and amazon

No way … But i’ll take it as a compliment !?

Essemgee says:

How resistant to weather are the controls and motor?

Linda B says:

Thank you very much. Very interesting and informative. I do have a question. Can this bike be ridden in the rain and snow? I’m thinking of riding it to the commuter train daily but we do tend to get a low of rain and snow in the winter months here. Thanks.

Basically it’s just like a motorcycle in one mode, and in the other mode you just start peddling and it helps you. Please report back on how you like the bike!

Reel Hawkins says:

STUPENDOUS review! I am considering getting this bike for my girlfriend as an easier was to make her commute to and from work. This video saved me a lot of time. Thank you so much.

Able Reyes says:

Thanks great … I’m looking at one for $300 use but in good condition . I thing I’ll go ahead and buy it .  I have a 50cc people scooter , but I’m wanting a bike for a small workout.

Gosh, thanks so much for this very helpful and well-done review. I just ordered one of these bikes last night, and had already researched the product quite a bit. But your video covered lot of additional questions that were still on my mind. I am a college physics professor, and think these electric bikes are just the thing for a lot of folks – fun and incredibly cost-effective. It’s a wonder I don’t seee these all over college campuses. Thanks again!

ureviews says:

The answer to both is yes. As seen in the demo.

Rhonda Hunt says:

I purchased this very same model to use as as assistive technology after a lifechanging injury. It has served me well, and definitely saved wear and tear on my lower extremeties. (Knees, ankles and torso.) The TAG is what I use most. Take care on it……people in cars do not realize that it has the capabilities to move quickly. Much operator observations are necessary when riding this helpful transportation.

ureviews says:

If you take a look at the products manual it says:

This hybrid electric bicycle is not
meant for use in the water (damp roads, puddles, rain, streams, etc.). Never immerse this
product in water as the electrical system may be damaged.
Although the electrical components are water resistant and there is little risk of electric shock from wet
weather, you should exercise caution and strongly consider not riding in such conditions, especially
heavy rain.

John Boyd says:

he sounds like Christopher Walkin

Anthony Colabella says:

the vidio showed how the back of the bike is.Dosen’t that cause rear wheel problems. For example…broken SPOKES ! ?????

Prizm Ward says:

this bike is Great, its everything i hoped for, to be able to bike ride again. thanks.

ureviews says:

Awesome :-) I’m going to forward this to my friend, she’s going to be happy we helped someone!

Ashley Gorgeski says:

Thank you very much for sharing this video! I love to see demonstrations, and not just someone standing there talking about the bikes they review….just get on the thing and ride it.

Veronica Greene says:

I am just begging researching this bike. Thank you for helping with your video! Question. Can you just pedal & kick in the motor when needed…like getting tired, up a hill, etc. ? Or does the motor *automatically start when one pedals a bit? I want to use this bike to mainly pedal. I need control of the bicycle functions. I have had a hip replacement. The bike does seem to take off fast. Any more info would be very appreciated. Again, thank you, & for showing the JOY in riding!

ureviews says:

Thank you for your kind words, you made my day :)

lewisb3100 says:

The price on that bike seems really reasonable, even the extra battery. A good value, I think.
