Dahon Speed D8 Folding Bike Review / ON THE ROAD

This summer Bison Transport & DAHON folding bikes have teamed up to test out some of their bikes on the road. After trying out the Dahon Speed Uno, Roger got the chance to switch gears and take a Dahon Speed D8 out on the road. It’s a good bike if you have a bad back because you can put the handle bars way up. I like it for that reason
I recommend fast tires in the schwalbe line too like the marathons too.

Today I bought me new comfort trekking saddle from the Aldi market for only $10. I mounted it on the folding bike, made a test ride and the result is that it feels good on the saddle, I don’t feel pain anymore. I think the stock saddle on it was made for small light-weight people.

You said in the video that your cruising at 25–30 kph.. Can the bike go any faster.. and do dahon make a bike with more than 8 speed.. Thanks.

I enjoyed the video Roger, thanks for your input. I purchased a 2014 Speed P8 in the red color, my wife has a Mariner D7. I hope to get it dialed in tomorrow at the bike shop and hit some bike trails. Keep up with the reviews!!!
