I just hit 100 miles on my black RadMini electric folding fat tire bicycle from Rad Power Bikes!

I’d love to hear from other RadMini owners, potential buyers, fans, etc.

any mods to make it go faster then 20 mph?

When I got mine I was impressed. Much more substantial than I expected.
I think it is more of a full size than a “mini”. I was kind of apprehensive because I am six foot but it is big enough for me.
All the equipment is very well done. Very happy with it.

you can ride with out pedal assist for the most part??

Jeffrey Ingeman says:

I have had my Rad Mini just over a month now and have a little shy of 300 miles on it. I try to ride it 20-25 miles per day here in Southern California. I broke the little horn lever when it caught on a cable while unfolding it, so you might watch for that. Otherwise I have been more then satisfied with its performance. I have never got the battery below 50% riding 20-25 miles mostly under pedal assist mode 1. After initially trying various modes, I found modes 4 and 5 a little too fast for where I ride. Mode 2 I like for surface streets in traffic, and the throttle I mainly use to accelerate at traffic lights when they turn green. If I could make a change, the one thing I would like is a little higher gearing or 1 or 2 more gears above 7. I find myself peddling a lot at higher speeds. Oh one more thing, when comparing speed/distance to my gps enabled phone, I found the included LCD is off and the true speed of the bike is about 10% faster then it displays.
