Amego Infinite Video Review – $2k Versatile, Beautiful, City Electric Bike The Amego Infinite is a feature rich, city style electric bike, available in four beautiful colors and approachable step-thru with double tubing for stiffness or taller high-step. Impressive 48 volt 13 amp hour Lithium-ion battery with USB charging port on the side to maintain accessories (smartphones, additional lights, etc.). Powerful but easy-to-pull hydraulic disc brakes with large 180 mm rotors, excellent Schwalbe tires with reflective sides and puncture protection, comfortable but simple shock absorbers. Heavier build because of the alloy fenders, rack, and big battery, but the weight is low and spread out, adjustable stem and lower seat tube can accommodate 5 foot (152 cm) riders, offers throttle and pedal assist with slightly higher speed options. I like the pretty metallic paint, the overall aesthetic is simple and beautiful. Amego is a Canadian electric bike company that sells to CA and the United States.

ohh nice! amego is my local shop. Bought my stromer there. Nice people and good bikes. And yes us foodora/ubereats people like these bikes. We beat them up pretty well by riding in all sorts of gross conditions.

I really like this step through design and the components it comes with for the price point. I just bought a Raleigh Misceo IE Sport because of the sale price, but I’ve noted that getting on and off with a load of groceries or school books is just a bit awkward at times. Step thru didn’t appeal to me before as I was mostly in to mountain biking but after years of commuting and now running all errands on bike I can definitely see the appeal. This might be my next purchase.

Disappointing that Court didn’t demonstrate the the frame-flex shimmy in this review. If I missed it “chime-in” as Court would say : )

Court, you are really getting around these days and are staying on top of the game. Good price point for the features on these bikes. Thanks.

Hmmmm this looks a lot like the magnum metro….. amego I swear is the company that ripped off their bikes from their manufacturer and replicated them :/

Chris Cross says:

I would love to “ride” with her 🙂

Really impressed with this bike too !!

8:03 you can get a kickstand out there that won’t be in the way of the inside of the frame if the frame manufacturer welds on a mount point, here is an example of what i am talking about, you can also modify any metal frame to do this if ya can weld or know someone who can, the piece of metal would only be like a buck or two:
