ABOUT: Pedal Loud. Its about cars and bike, not bunnies.
Bought this heavy weight Apollo folding bike used on eBay. Proved to be really useful for doing a short train ride journey to collect my car. It felt a bit bulky when carrying it on and off the train and there were the usual problems with where to store it once on the train. It’s also really really heavy! Weighing in at a whopping 14.7kg. It is by no means a lightweight bike. If you want lightweight then go Dahon or Brompton. If you want a cheapy folding bike for occassional use only then maybe the Apollo is suitable. I woudl say you could do a lot worse but I’m not sure how true that really is! This is super budget end of the market. I couldn’t even find a model name for this particular bike, it is simply a single speed Apollo folding bike! Anyway, hope you enjoyed the video. Give it a thumbs up if you did and don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks for watching.

Would you buy this bike new from Halfords or buy a second hand Brompton? Who do you think makes the best folding bikes?

I bought this exact same bike this weekend. Got it for £30 on shpock. Can’t complain at the price. Fully functional. Just needed a few bolts tightening. Came with spare tires and tunes. Works fine. But agree u have to pedal like a hamster on this thing

Hi! Thanks for the video! It’s a big change from riding a bike with gears for sure! I was wondering what kind of strap did you use to keep it together folded? Thanks!
