My ‘realistic’ dream bike

BB30A? OUT!!

valentin65 says:

That focus on weight is just a marketing thing to make more money. Eat less until you have a BMI under 20 and you will drop the other guys on a very inexpensive bicycle. On the flat and with no sprinting the laws of physics tell us that weight is totally irrelevant.

Ronit Debnath says:

Its the best aluminium frame ever. Only one thing can trump it a CAAD 13.

receo11 says:

I’m pretty sure all bikes are under 2000 pounds. I got a Specialized AWOL that’s 25 pounds and I think it’s heavy.

adriboff1 says:

BikeRadar, it was your recommendation that made me buy this bike. In  2016 you named the Caad 12 105 bike of the year. However, I bought the Ultegra model which looks the same as this. Two years later and exactly the same colour!! To be honest I would like my money back! As you say it’s a great frame, but Cannondale need to learn how to make a bike that doesn’t click and creak. When I pay $2,300 for a bike I expect it to be silent and smooth. I also expect better than Mavic’s cheapest wheels! Two years on and it’s still clicking. The worst buy in the history of bike buys!!!!!

Daniel Paul Watts says:

Great video

Nicole Mitsi says:

I love my CAAD12. However, glad I didn’t buy the complete build with those horrible mavic wheels. I just bought the frame and made my own custom build with DT swiss wheels, Ultegra Di2 and adaptive C-bear bottom bracket (no creaking for me!).

JogBird says:

does this use the proprietary rear wheel ??

Eddie Jack says:

Great content. But not going to lie: really don’t like the Le Col sponsored clothing. At all. And (again, personal preference) but, please – Cannondale – embrace some colour in your mid range bikes. Black and grey is just unacceptable.

Mario.Stangaciu says:

Hey guys!.It is reba a very good fork for xc?

Rejor111 says:

Trek Emonda for me! I like Cannondale, but I’ve decided to go for Trek Emonda ALR. A bit cheaper, aluminum is just as good, and better bottom bracket IMO. And a pretty sky blue color to boot.

Zak Keevil says:

Hello! Love your videos

Yang Guan Tang says:

Allez sprint or the caad 12?

Yang Guan Tang says:

Why is the win rate low for Cannondale team even though most people raves about it..just asking

Maca says:

Very good bike but BB30a is a nightmare, if buying you’ve been warned

DogFather0808 says:

I bought the SRAM Red version of CAAD12 in July of 2016, primarily on BikeRadar’s recommendation. 7300 miles later, no regrets. Upgraded to Dura Ace wheels this year, and it just gets better and better.

Low hanging fruit says:

What size did you test? The two smaller models have very strange geometry.

Romeo Fowler says:

Loving my black ink Caad12

Kalsonic says:

This or Spesh’s Allez?

Jacques Chiron says:

Got the caad12 ultegra in 2016 thanks to your review, and when wanted to go for a disc bike, I could not think of getting something else. Fantastic bike. Love it. Could not be happier. Thank you for the great tip!
