If there is someone who is still confused if theyre gonna build a fixed gead or not… just buy a flip flop hub

U can. Switch from free wheel to fixed just by putting the rear wheel to the opposite direction

how tall is the bike??
35 pounds is as heavy as my old hybrid Schwinn bike (11-speeds with a mountain fork) that I bought from Walmart. Now I have a track bike and it weighs under 20 pounds and I still find it a bit heavy. I guess I have that “Weight Weenie Syndrome”, which is a plague if you ask me. You’ll always be look for ways to lower the weight of your components, which means endless hours of looking at those light carbon wheelsets and carbon forks, etc, which is torturous when you’re a poor college student.
first thing that comes to mind when seeing this bike: utilitarian
