Thanks, just bought one

Ray J says:

I would spend a couple hundred more and get a trek, much better and lighter bike.

DJ FANTASTICO EN CHICAGO says:

i got $200 to spend on a road bike
called two stores
and told me they don’t have anything on that price range
ona said $800
and the other said starting price is $360
looks like i will end up at walmart, target or sears
bikes stores are expensive

toyo 250 says:

I have 6 bikes 2 Walmart genesis 29er s 1 a mongoose fat bike , 1 specialized , ,1 trek  and 1 diamondback , in admission the 3 more pricey ones are a better ride but the 2 genesis from Walmart definitely hold their own… the 29er assault I ve had since 2011 with absolutely no problems and over 500 miles , the other The Genesis GX7 cruiser purchased in 2015 had to replace a crank bering because of lack of grease ….however I see all the bad things people say about WalMart bikes  as for me I haven’t had those problems they just need to be tuned and inspected ….ever noticed no one ever goes into the specific  problems with  WalMart they just sat they are cheap shit and don’t buy….take it from someone who owns both types and listen to their opinion.

Jacob r says:

Wow this bike looks really nice. For a beginner it is perfect. Nice looking bike dude. Have lots of fun on it enjoying the trail

James Hurtt says:

Just got one myself the other day….. I needed an inexpensive road bike to ride with a friend of mine… Im not gonna make road biking a long term thing I dont feel… didnt want to spend a lot on it…… I have a Diamondback 29er for trail riding / mountain biking…. 6’2″ 260 lbs….. Bike fits me well surprisingly and seems to ride well…..

latexmonkeys says:

I bought one last year. Nothing worked. Made an exchange- still screwed up.
Returned it again and bought a nice used bike for $165.
It’s great! Chromoly Steel with Shimano RSX brifters and 10 pounds lighter than the aluminum Denali.

crow fallen says:

I just bought this and i am about 5’7 and i feel it is slightly too tall for me
will it do anything to my back or posture while i ride?
Should i return it and get something else?
Or do i just need to get used to it cause this is my first road bike.

Mark murrey says:

I bought the same bike I’ve put about 75 miles on it. your right about the gloves I have to wear thick gloves because it hurts my hands a little after about an hour into a 2-hour ride. it has good speed smooth ride the breaks suck they grind a lot over all a pretty solid bike for the money

brad bolin says:

I had the orange and black one. I put many thousands of miles on it. I rode it the sun, rain, sleet, and snow. It was money well spent. It even survived a crash with a car. Indestructable, and fairly light, all things considered. The rear derailleur was crap…replace it with any of the better Shimano Tourney ones and you will be good to go. Replace the tires with 700x25c road tires, like Continental Ultra Sport. That will shave off some weight. It’s really not that bad, what do people expect for less than $200? The technology is way better than what department store bikes used to be….like those heavy steel 10-speeds from the 80s. I loved mine. I finally sold it when i got a higher end bike.

gulf city nicholas danca says:

Trek has entry level road bikes for four to six hundred bucks while its a start it wont last to long the parts are meh at best

durianrider says:

IT IS A START!! :)

Ch3k420 says:

most bike stores have a layaway plan. Its how I got my first 1500 dollar bike.

TheRunningSloth says:

hey I am 6 foot will this bike work for me?

SC Radio Fan says:

Okay, 8 months in… What is your opinion now of it?

Marcos Fredrickson says:

Nice bike! I love cycling but one if the things I don’t like about it is how expensive it can be. For that reason, I like to buy second hand bikes or even build my own. Good luck. Happy riding.

Go green Now says:

I got Very lucky on this bike i bought it from walmart only 40 dollars.

Sawlah 1106 says:

Great video I subscribed

Bruin Doc says:

I agree with Durianrider – it’s a start. In at least one of his videos, Durianrider really shuts down the marketing hype behind too many cyclists’ belief that you always have to have more expensive, lighter, faster bikes. For what, man? Are you a competitive racer? If not, then all of that marketing doesn’t pertain to you. Enjoy your new bike, and if you need better stopping power, try KoolStop brake pads.

Sterling says:

Post a video riding it

spanishh2001 says:

I bought the same bike …once tuned and the tire’s changed to at least 25c its a good road bike …smooth and comfortable… completed a 60 mile trail with no problems ….

Sterling says:

Hmmm might have to get this one.

armando torres says:

if you take the stickers off it’ll make it more aerodynamic… take the stickers off!!!

TheRunningSloth says:
